Sinopsis / Synopsis
En el estado de Zacatecas, México, durante el último fin de semana del mes de Agosto, miles de peregrinos devotos a San Juan Bautista se reúnen en las lomas de Bracho para representar al aire libre (y esto desde hace 150 años), la Guerra de religiones entre Moros y Cristianos o “Morisma”.
El personaje principal en esta representación es Argel Osmán, el Rey Moro interpretado por Salvador Ferreiro desde hace más de 20 años. Este papel dentro de la morisma es el sueño de infancia de Salvador, que gracias al papel, dejó el alcoholismo. Durante el resto del año, Salvador trabaja como intendente en oficinas de gobierno. Además de Argel Osmán, está Juan de Austria, General de las fuerzas cristianas.
