Sinopsis / Synopsis

Saíd es un marroquí musulmán que trabaja en México en el área de mantenimiento de un hotel. Está aprendiendo español y trata de encontrarse pero se siente solo y extraño y lo único que lo mantiene en pie es su religión. Ceferina es una mujer solitaria que trabaja junto con Saíd pero lo rechaza por un miedo y desconfianza a lo desconocido. Hasta que un día, Ceferina es testigo de la inmensa fe que tiene Saíd y, al verse conmovida, decide acercarse. Para Saíd, esto representa la posibilidad de quedarse y no estar solo.

Said is an exiled moroccan young man who works in México, in the mantainance department of a hotel. He is learning spanish and is trying to find himself in the exile but feels very lonely and strange and the only thing that keeps him on his feet is his religion. Ceferina is a lonely woman who works in the same department than Saíd but she rejects him because of her prejudice and mistrust. Until one day, Ceferina is a witness of Saíd’s tremendous faith and decides to get closer. For Said, this represents the possibility of staying and not being alone.
